Es saludable la dieta vegana durante el embarazo?<br \/>\nCuando qued\u00e9 embarazada hace poco m\u00e1s de un a\u00f1o, la pregunta que m\u00e1s sol\u00edan hacerme cuando contaba de mi embarazo era si iba a continuar siendo vegana.<br \/>\nAl principio debo confesar que me molestaba mucho, porque, cuando uno hace el click es como muy dif\u00edcil borrar las ideas de la cabeza, de repente pensar que la crueldad animal est\u00e1 bien?, me parec\u00eda una pregunta muy tonta. Pero entend\u00ed que la gente lo hac\u00eda desde la preocupaci\u00f3n, porque est\u00e1 la idea de que alimentarse a base de plantas no es suficiente, que el cuerpo &#8220;necesita prote\u00edna&#8221; (como si las plantas no tuvieran), que en el embarazo necesit\u00e1s m\u00e1s hierro, calcio (de nuevo, como si las plantas carecieran de \u00e9stos).<\/p>\n<p>Mi respuesta era un rotundo: Obviamente!<br \/>\nPero luego me ve\u00eda en la necesidad de defender mi postura diciendo que hab\u00eda le\u00eddo libros y me hab\u00eda informado sobre nutrici\u00f3n, simplemente para no ser juzgada o atiborrada a preguntas.<\/p>\n<p>Hubo gente que hasta lleg\u00f3 a decirme que si ten\u00eda antojo de carne deb\u00eda comerla y olvidarme de mis ideas &#8220;extremistas&#8221; por el &#8220;bien&#8221; de mi beb\u00e9 (\u00bf?)<br \/>\nLas cosas que tiene uno que escuchar!<\/p>\n<p>Vamos a ver, tuve un embarazo hermoso, sin n\u00e1useas, sin v\u00f3mitos, sin falta de hierro, calcio, B12 ni ninguna vitamina o mineral.<br \/>\nCom\u00ed super saludable? Mmmmmmm, no siempre. Tambi\u00e9n com\u00ed cosas no tan saludables, pero en general mi dieta era a base de frutas, vegetales, cereales, legumbres, nueces.<br \/>\nTom\u00e9 suplementos? Si, como todas las embarazadas sean veganas o no, tomaba (y sigo tomando porque amamanto a mi hijo) un suplemento multivitam\u00ednico para embarazo y lactancia.<br \/>\nLlevaba un diario de comidas y estaba obsesionada por ingerir todo lo necesario? No, simplemente comiendo variado y saludable la mayor\u00eda de las veces fue suficiente.<\/p>\n<p>Mi beb\u00e9 creci\u00f3 muy bien. Tuve un parto maravilloso, natural, sin anestesia, sin intervenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica alguna, ah! Y a mis casi 40 a\u00f1os!<\/p>\n<p>No quiero decir que todos los embarazos y partos de mam\u00e1s veganas sean perfectos. Yo tuve la dicha de que sean perfectos. Tambi\u00e9n hice un trabajo mental y espiritual, no s\u00f3lo me preocup\u00e9 por lo que entraba en mi cuerpo f\u00edsico, para explicarlo mejor. Pero lo que busco con este post es derribar el mito de que para tener un embarazo y beb\u00e9 saludables hay que consumir productos animales. Eso no es verdad, es m\u00e1s, hay m\u00e1s riesgos de contraer enfermedades consumiendo por ejemplo carne mal cocida. Los antibi\u00f3ticos presentes en los productos animales impactan directamente en la placenta, es decir, van a parar al beb\u00e9. Lo mismo que el mercurio en el pescado y los organismos gen\u00e9ticamente modificados con los que se alimenta a los animales.<br \/>\nY a\u00fan no estoy hablando de la baja vibraci\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica que produce la ingesta de seres que han muerto aterrorizados.<\/p>\n<p>Hoy, mi beb\u00e9 tiene casi 6 meses, y lo he alimentado a leche materna exclusivamente. As\u00ed que otro mito derribado, no necesitamos consumir productos animales para tener m\u00e1s leche o mejor calidad de leche.<\/p>\n<p>El consejo que puedo darle a futuras mam\u00e1s: Lean sobre nutrici\u00f3n, inf\u00f3rmenle al obstetra o partera el tipo de alimentaci\u00f3n que siguen, pidan ayuda de un nutricionista que respete sus valores y que est\u00e9 actualizado (porque no faltan los\u00a0que a\u00fan creen que NECESITAMOS comer carne).<br \/>\nSobre todo, no dejen que les inculquen miedo, una madre por su hijo hace cualquier cosa y si nos dicen que la salud de nuestro beb\u00e9 est\u00e1 en riesgo, haremos hasta lo imposible para evitarlo, por eso es importante leer, aprender, investigar, poner en duda.<br \/>\nYo no digo que hagan lo que hice yo, cada persona es \u00fanica y deben hacer lo que les dicta su consciencia y su coraz\u00f3n. Yo solo quiero contar mi experiencia para ayudar a derribar estos mitos tan arraigados.<\/p>\n<p>Por \u00faltimo, vuelvo a aclarar, yo no soy nutricionista ni m\u00e9dico. Mis consejos o mis experiencias son solo eso, consejos y experiencias. Siempre se debe consultar al m\u00e9dico en caso de dudas.<\/p>\n<p>Les vuelvo a escribir pronto con la experiencia que en breve comenzaremos de alimentaci\u00f3n complementaria, vamos a practicar BLW, lo que dar\u00e1 lugar a una nueva secci\u00f3n de recetas en el blog: Comida apta para beb\u00e9s!
